Waltham Ramblers
Your local walking group is the Waltham group of The Ramblers.
Guided walks of five miles are held every Wednesday morning and varied distances on Sundays, they are led by friendly local volunteers at a leisurely pace.
During the summer months, in addition to the Wednesdays and Sundays, there are Friday evening walks, usually ending at a country Pub.
Most walks are adjacent to our Parish, but some are further afield such as the New Forest and also into West Sussex.
You will find us a friendly group and no specialised or expensive gear is needed – just stout shoes or boots/wellingtons in wet weather, waterproof clothing and an interest in your countryside.
We organise short walking holidays, and in addition we have social events such as slide shows, Barbecues, talks etc – are you interested?
